Body Armour Protection for the Manned Guarding Sector Manned guarding remains a key service security firms provide. Guards are essential at certain locations – such as construction sites, business & retail parks, industrial estates, etc. – to monitor and protect against unauthorised entry, vandalism, and theft. Not only can trained professionals patrolling a site ensure any situations can be dealt with immediately, they also serve as a deterrent to any potential troublemakers. While some security workers may experience long shifts with no sign of suspicious activity, others may well expect to encounter aggressive individuals from time to time: thieves and vandals could carry...
I would just like to thank James, Shabir & Hamid for a situation we found ourselves in on Thursday afternoon when a car had to stop on Victoria Road, outside Pace, due to the car being on fire, which was incidentally carrying gas cylinders. The fire brigade was called by Security. Until the Fire Brigade arrived, James speedily but safely controlled the area (whilst the driver tried to put out the fire with Pace’s Fire Extinguisher) and arranged his guards to ensure drivers (both ways) and pedestrians were kept well back from the blaze. This was done with great...

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were visiting as part of her Majesty's Jubilee tour...
A brief look at Safe Rooms and their applications. by Jeff Morris, Managing Director, Jayfort Security Services Ltd Most people who have heard of a 'Panic Room' probably think of a Hollywood film about a woman holed up in a secure room within her house while intruders are trying to get to her.
