After reviewing all the available information the National Threat Level remains unchanged. The MPS has deployed a number of additional resources in support of borough policing. Today is a Big Wing day for the MPS. This is an operation targeting crime with an increased number of officers engaged in high visibility patrol and other activities. It is not in response to yesterdays events. The policing plans for the forthcoming events have been reviewed.
